History of Mulanthuruthy Block Panchayat

Mulanthuruthy Block Panchayat is a Local Self Government Institution in Ernakulam District, Kerala, committed to the overall development of rural areas and the improvement of the quality of life of the people.

As part of democratic decentralisation and participatory planning, the Block Panchayat plays an important role in coordinating the development activities of the Grama Panchayats and planning and implementing various development programmes.

The Block Panchayat works towards the comprehensive development of the region through various initiatives in agriculture, rural infrastructure, healthcare, education, social welfare, women empowerment and poverty alleviation.
